SPEAKERS
ISMAEL CUEVAS is the Amtrak Government Affairs Manager for the Midwest and completed 1 year with Amtrak in May 2023. Previously, he spent 7 years in Chicago’s City Council as a Chief of Staff for a Councilwoman and for the Committee on Workforce Development.
He received his bachelor's from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and received his Master’s in Mexican-American and Latino Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He has published articles on Black and Latino history in various Chicago publications. He was recently part of the summer 2023 Bicycle Urbanism Master class in Copenhagen, Denmark.
