ADVOCATING FOR BETTER PASSENGER RAIL IN OHIO
For A Connected Midwest
Since 1973, All Aboard Ohio is the primary representative for passenger-rail supporters in Ohio.
WHY DOES OHIO NEED RAIL?
1
Economic and Regional Integration
Reconnecting Ohio’s major cities via passenger rail, particularly the “3C+D” route, would enhance travel efficiency, stimulate job creation, support local businesses, and attract investments, while offering a sustainable transportation alternative.
2
Strategic Connectivity
Ohio’s location as a gateway between the Midwest and the eastern U.S. positions it to benefit from and contribute to regional travel, with the potential to serve an estimated 400,000-500,000 passengers annually.
3
Infrastructure Investment
With the Federal Railroad Administration’s focus on expanding four Ohio routes, the state is poised for a transportation revolution that promises improved access to affordable travel and reflects a commitment to long-term infrastructure development.
WHY ALL ABOARD OHIO?
All Aboard Ohio is a non-profit, member-based organization dedicated to promoting improved public transportation and passenger rail service throughout the state.
